When you join the early access list, we collect your email address. When you create an account, we store that email address so your cards can follow you to a new phone.
When you make a card in the Studio, the photo and the card are held on your own device. They stay there and go no further unless you do one of these things:
The original photo you started from is never uploaded. What is uploaded is the finished card it was made into.
We use privacy-focused analytics (such as Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use our site, including anonymized interaction recordings. This helps us fix problems and improve the product. See Microsoft's privacy statement for details on Clarity.
When you use the Share button in the CardMyMoment app, or install the app from a link someone shared, we count it, with no name attached (for example, "share opened"). To credit the person whose link was used, the app keeps a random code on your phone and sends it with that count. We do not record what you do inside the app, and none of this is used for ads.
On the website, when you use the Share CardMyMoment button, we count it the same way, with no name attached, by our own counter at growth.grademyhabits.com. If you arrive from a link someone shared, a cookie keeps that link's random code for 30 days so the person who shared can be credited. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted.
If you send us feedback or a testimonial, we keep what you typed. A testimonial is published only if you tick the box, and only with your first name and city.
You can delete your account at any time, from inside the Studio under Account, or from cardmymoment.com/delete-account. You do not have to install anything to do it.
Deleting your account removes your email address, your events, your saved cards and the guest photos from your events. It happens immediately and it is not reversible.
Cards you already shared with other people are treated separately, and you choose. By default they keep working, because someone may be holding a printed card with that code on the back and deleting your account should not turn it into a dead link in a stranger's hand. If you want those gone too, tick the box when you delete, and they stop resolving.
Every published card page carries a Report link. Anyone can use it, with or without an account. Reported cards are reviewed, and a card reported by two different people is hidden from view straight away while it is looked at.
You are responsible for having the right to use photos you put on cards, including photos that show other people. Do not create cards from photos you do not have permission to use. To request removal of content that includes you, contact us at the address below.
CardMyMoment is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the product (such as our email provider for the early access list) and only for that purpose.
